• Work closely with the finance team to develop and maintain cost accounting systems and practices that align with company goals and regulatory requirements.
• Liaise with USDA and DOE representatives to ensure financial reporting and compliance with grant requirements and regulations.
• Assist in the preparation of financial statements and reports, highlighting variances, trends, and opportunities for cost optimization.

REQUIREMENTS:
• Minimum 5 years of experience in fertilizer, mining, power, or other heavy industries.
• Experience in environmental licensing, land use, permitting, and regulatory affairs for construction projects in Brazil.
• Knowledge of grid connection (generation or consumption) and communication with public authorities.
• Ability to interpret technical drawings, standards, and project requirements.
• Strong skills in identifying risks and managing licensing issues. • Proficiency in MS Office and CAD.
• Fluent in Portuguese and advanced English.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Previous construction site experience is a plus.
RESPONSIBILITIES: • Liaise with regulatory bodies and stakeholders to ensure compliance with legal requirements.
• Coordinate the submission and follow-up of permits and licenses until approval.
• Obtain and register permits for the Uberaba Green Fertilizers project during pre-construction and construction phases.
• Ensure environmental, social, and safety compliance with federal, state, and local regulations.
• Manage traceability and compliance of all licensing-related requirements.
• Monitor schedules and anticipate deliverables to prevent delays.
• Keep accurate records and documentation of all permits.
• Monitor Brazilian legislation related to permitting, environment, construction, and grid connection.
